Getting to the start
10 min walk from Express Bus Terminal Station (Lines 3, 7, 9) Exit 8-1. The fountain runs only April to October, and only a few times each evening — check that day's schedule on the city's Hangang site and arrive 30 minutes early.

From where you watched the fountain, follow the river west — a walkway runs straight onto the islands. No boat needed.
