Getting to the start

Daegongwon Station (Line 4) Exit 2 opens onto a large plaza; the theme park is a 10 min walk from there. If you'd rather not walk, take the elephant tram from the plaza.

   The quietest of the three, with the shortest queues. Small enough to be easy with young children.

   Walk back to the plaza and take the elephant tram to the zoo entrance. On foot it's 20 minutes, uphill. The zoo itself is bigger still — consider the chairlift.

   Seoul Grand Park Zoo

   Gwacheon, Gyeonggi · 3h

   Shares the grounds with Seoul Land, so you can do both in a day. It's big and hilly — take the tram or the chairlift rather than walking it all.
