Getting to the start

About 2h30 from Seoul Station to Busan by KTX. From Busan Station take metro Line 1, change at Seomyeon for Line 2, and walk to the water from Haeundae Station.

   Korea's best-known beach, with a wall of towers behind it so the city and the sea meet head on. In peak summer the sand disappears under parasols. A path runs from the eastern end round Dongbaekseom island.
